


When we took over the Oxford Blue our vision was very clear: we wanted to be first and foremost a pub that serves great food, beers and wines in a friendly atmosphere.
We are all mad about food and drink at the Oxford Blue, but we are not a “gastropub”. This term is so misleading these days and it does not guarantee anything.
We aim to create an environment where people can pop in just for a pint or a glass of wine without feeling pressured to eat. So we have put together a selection of hot and cold bar snacks for you to enjoy.
But for those of you who are hungry, Mark and Chris have been busy sourcing the best of local produce from regional suppliers who are passionate about quality not quantity. We have met with a number of suppliers who are just as driven by produce quality as we are, and our menu offerings will change throughout the seasons to use as much local produce as possible. All our food is prepared on location and our menu is an eclectic mix of authentic dishes.
Some of our notable suppliers are Butts Farm and Adlestrop Kitchen for meat, poultry and game. The Natural Bread Company for organic and natural yeast bread, Haymans Fisheries and soon Daylesford Organics for seasonal veg.
